Gorey Fete 2019

The 2019 Gorey Fete is being held on Thursday 15 August and there will be some disruption to our services during road closures.

Wednesday 14th August

10:00 - 18:00

Routes 1, 1A and 2 will be turning into Beach Road (Gorey Village) then right at Morrison’s Food Hall and up and over Mont de Gouray to Gorey Pier and onto the one-way system through the Pier and onto Gorey Coast Rd heading south. A temporary bus stop will be located at the end of the coach park on the main road and a notice placed in the bus shelter outlining the bus services until Friday 12:00.

Route 13 will not have access to Gorey Pier.

From 18.00

Routes 1, 1A and 2 will turn into Beach Road (Gorey Village) then LEFT at Morrison’s Food Hall running through Gorey Village main road and back to the Coast Road. Temporary bus stops will be located in Beach Road and towards the end of Gorey Village Main Road by Rue Horman. No access to Gorey Pier.

Route 13 will not have access to Gorey Pier.

Route 2 will not have access to St Catherine.

Thursday 15th August

All day

Routes 1, 1A and 2 will turn into Beach Road (Gorey Village) then LEFT at Morrison’s Food Hall running through Gorey Village Main Road and back to the Coast Road by the old AA box. Temporary bus stops will be located in Beach Road and another towards the end of Gorey Village Main Road by Rue Horman. No access to Gorey Pier.

Route 13 will not have access to Gorey Pier.

Route 2 will not have access to St Catherine.

Friday 16th August

Diversions are expected to last until approximately 12:00 as the Pier and approach roads are cleared, Buses will follow the same routes as the previous day until the Honorary Police report that the road is open.
